Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Site, the contact form, email correspondence and discovery calls. Information Golden Hill receives while performing services for a client is governed by the agreement with that client, not by this policy.

 

Information Golden Hill collects

Information you provide. When you submit the contact form, Golden Hill collects your first and last name, organization, role, email address, and your description of your organization’s needs. If you email Golden Hill directly, Golden Hill receives your email address and whatever you include in your message.

 

Discovery calls. With your permission, Golden Hill may record discovery calls and create transcripts or notes from those recordings. Golden Hill will ask before recording and will not record if you decline.

 

Information collected automatically. Wix, the platform that hosts the Site, and Google Analytics use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your visit. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on the Site, and the website that referred you.

 

How Golden Hill uses information

Golden Hill uses the information it collects to:

• respond to your inquiry and schedule a discovery call;
• evaluate whether and how Golden Hill can help your organization;
• prepare proposals and communicate with you about potential or current work;
• understand how visitors use the Site and improve it;
• protect the Site against spam and misuse; and
• comply with legal obligations.

 

Golden Hill will not add you to a newsletter or marketing email list unless you choose to sign up.

 

How information is shared

Golden Hill does not sell your personal information and does not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Golden Hill shares information only:

• with service providers that help operate the business. These include Wix (website hosting, forms and contact management), Google (email and analytics), and video conferencing, recording and productivity tools, including tools that use artificial intelligence to transcribe or summarize. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies;
• when required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or to protect the rights or safety of Golden Hill or others; and
• in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of all or part of Golden Hill’s business.

 

Cookies and analytics

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although parts of the Site may not work properly as a result. To stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits, you can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

 

Data retention

Golden Hill keeps personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including keeping business records and meeting legal and tax obligations. Call recordings are deleted once they are no longer needed to support a proposal or engagement.

 

Security

Golden Hill takes reasonable steps to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Golden Hill cannot guarantee absolute security.

 

Your choices

You may ask Golden Hill to access, correct or delete the personal information it holds about you by emailing contact@goldenhillstrategies.ai. Golden Hill may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and may keep information where the law requires it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law.

 

Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Golden Hill does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact Golden Hill and it will be deleted.

 

Other websites

The Site may link to websites operated by others. Golden Hill is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

 

Where information is processed

Golden Hill is based in the United States. Information you provide may be stored and processed in the United States or in other countries where Golden Hill’s service providers operate.

 

Changes to this policy

Golden Hill may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised, and any changes will be posted on this page.
